Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MySalarySlip mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Finnove Technologies Pvt Ltd, a company registered in Nepal ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. The Service
MySalarySlip is a productivity tool that helps you generate documents such as salary slips and salary certificates from data you enter. The Service may also include tax calculators, in-hand salary calculators, salary comparison tools, and similar features.
The Service is a document-generation tool. It is not a payroll service, an accounting service, a tax-filing service, or a source of legal, financial, or tax advice. Documents you generate are not certified, audited, or legally attested. You alone are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for how you use the generated output. We strongly recommend you consult a qualified accountant or lawyer before relying on any document for legal, tax, or employment purposes.
3. Accounts and authentication
To use most features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs on your account. Notify us immediately at support@mysalaryslip.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Free tier and Pro subscriptions
4.1 Free tier
The Service includes a free tier that allows you to generate a limited number of documents each calendar month. The exact limit may change from time to time and is shown in the app.
4.2 Pro subscriptions
Pro subscriptions provide unlimited document generation and additional features. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly or yearly) through:
- The Apple App Store for iOS purchases;
- The Google Play Store for Android purchases; or
- Our web billing provider (RevenueCat Web Billing) for web purchases.
4.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time:
- On iOS: through your Apple ID account settings.
- On Android: through your Google Play account settings.
- On Web: through your account settings in the app.
4.4 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by the platform that processed your payment:
- For App Store purchases, contact Apple Support.
- For Play Store purchases, contact Google Play Support.
- For web purchases, contact us at support@mysalaryslip.com.
Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable.
4.5 Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will only apply to renewals occurring after the effective date of the change.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You are solely responsible for any data you enter into the Service, including but not limited to employer names, employee names, salary amounts, identification numbers, and dates. You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to enter and process that data;
- The data is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- You will not use the Service to create false, fraudulent, or misleading documents;
- You will not use the Service to impersonate any person or entity;
- Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including tax, labor, and data-protection laws in your jurisdiction.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including the creation of forged or fraudulent documents;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers;
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service;
- Attempt to circumvent the free-tier limit or any other technical restriction;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Finnove Technologies Pvt Ltd and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You retain ownership of the data you enter and the documents you generate. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that data only as necessary to provide the Service to you.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services including Supabase, Google, Apple, RevenueCat, and Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or performance.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or otherwise misuse the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law — will survive.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any document generated will be suitable for any particular legal, tax, or financial purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finnove Technologies Pvt Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) NPR 1,000.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Finnove Technologies Pvt Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
